Additionally, she served as a Strategic Planning Member of Southfield Public Schools.

Cass Tech H.S. Grad, She holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Development from Michigan State University and performed graduate studies at Oakland University. She recently was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree for her Humanitarian and Community Engagement.

Her professional life is a marvelous success story in itself. She has served Southfield’s City Council for 17 years and 9 of those years in a leadership capacity as Council President and Vice President, elected by her colleagues. Additionally she worked as EEOC Investigator and Consultant & Federal Government Roles Consultant to U.S. Army Tank Command on civil rights and Equal Opportunity Specialist and Supervisor with the U.S. EEOC.

Her awards include: A Recipient of Michigan Chronicle’s Women of Excellence Award and Community Leadership Award from World Medical Relief for her commitment to community development. National League of Cities Outstanding Federal Woman’s Award, U.S. Army Detroit Who’s Who, Distinguished Leadership, and the Silver Training Certificate with Michigan Municipal League. She has been a regular presenter at the International Third World Leadership Association, founded by the late Dr. Myles Munroe. The ITWLA trains leaders on a global scale from over 65 countries. She also co-hosted a TV Program “Wisdom for Living” and authored seven books. She has traveled and spoken extensively throughout the United States and abroad on Global and Personal Leadership Development, Entrepreneur, Women & Career Development, and Community Building and Sustainability.

She current works as the Administrator at Victory Learning Center & Children’s Prep Academy in Southfield, Michigan. With the networks that she has gained, Dr. Jordan recently formed The Ultimate Women’s Network for the purposes innovative idea exchange, engagement, shared resources, problem-solving, and business networking specifically for women.
